Bentonville recently marked the groundbreaking of its new Adult Recreation Center (ARC), a project aimed at enhancing the well-being of residents aged 50 and older. Mayor Stephanie Orman has been instrumental in advancing this $22 million facility, which will expand the Downtown Activity Center by over 35,000 square feet, providing space for fitness, recreation, and community connection. The ARC, scheduled to open in early 2026, will include features like a gymnasium, pickleball courts, a therapy pool, an indoor walking track, and community rooms. This initiative is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to thoughtfully meet the needs of its residents and support community growth.
